RACE ANNIVERSARY:
11TH CYCLO-MARATHON RACE
ORGANIZER:

ROUTES:
Route No.1 – 88 km (total super-elevation 1130m)
Route No.2 – 142 km (total super-elevation 1820m)
Route No.3 – 235 km (total super-elevation 3077m)
ROUTE CHOICE:
Route No.1 only in presentation!
Competitors on Routes No.2 and No.3 may make a decision on the 115th-km where the routes are divided. Entry to the Route No.3 will be closed after 14.00 H (2.00 p.m.). One secret passage checkpoint will be established along the Route No.3.
AGE GROUPS:
A – men up to 30 (1976 and younger)
B – men up to 40 (1966 to 1975)
C – men up to 50 (1956 to 1965)
D – men over 50 (1955 and older)
E – ladies up to 40 (1966 and younger)
F – ladies over 40 (1965 and older)
TEAM COMPETITION:
Three- and Four-member team competition will be called without age group limitation on the Route No.2 and No.3. To make a team presentation which will proceed on August 12th and 13th, 2005 in the race office, an application form shall be filled in specifying team name, name, surname and team member starting numbers. Team standings will be based on final time aggregate of the first three-team members. To classify a team its three members shall finish the race.
START:
Ždírec nad Doubravou, náměstí 9.května, 8.00 H (8.00 a.m.) – for all groups
FINISH:
Ždírec nad Doubravou, náměstí 9.května. To make a classification record in the result report the time limit is 19.00 H (7.00 p.m.). Individual/and Team Race results announcement and prize awards for Route No.1 from 14.00 H (2.00 p.m.), for Route No.2 from 17.00 (5.00 p.m.), and for Route No. 3 from 19.00 H (7.00 p.m.) within the finish area.
REGISTRATION FORMS:
Filled-in/and signed registration forms should be posted or e-mailed not later than on August 1st, 2005. When the registration form is posted the postal stamp date is decisive, when e-mailed the date and time of filled-in registration form sending will decide.
Registration forms for non-registered in advance will be available only on Friday, August 12th, 2005 and Saturday, August 13th, 2003 on higher price without any claim for souvenir.
Don’t forget, please, to specify the payercs account number and payment date in the registration form. The above date will help us to identify unambiguously your payment so you may avoid any problems.

PARTICIPANT’S FEE:
The participantcs fee for the Route No.1 is 350,- CZK, for Route No.2/and No.3 is 550,- payable till July 18th, 2005, the price includes the race souvenir. The date when the payment is credited on the organizercs account is decisive not the date of payment. After this date only on Friday, 12th August, 2005 and Saturday, 13th August, 2005, the price for Route No.1 is 500,- CZK and that for Route No.2/and No.3 is 700,- CZK. The participantcs fee may be cancelled only in written with a date of sending till the 8th August 2005, cancellation fee is 100,- CZK.
Participantcs payment should be remitted to the organizercs account No.6015-1120817319/0800; variable symbol should be given as your birth date.
REGISTRATION:
Ždírec nad Doubravou, Elementary school – entry from Školní street (from the Municipality office)
– on Friday on 12th August, 2005 from 17.00 H to 22.00 H (5.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.),
– on Saturday, 13th August 2005 from 5.00 H to 7.30 H (5.00 a.m. to 7.30 a.m.), but you risk to be late on start!
Attention: because the results will be processed electronically, please, prepare your deposit – one bank-note, 200,- CZK – to borrow a chip, – the deposit will be returned after returning the chip when the race finishes.
Only the participants, whose payment will be given in our bank statement till 11th August 2005, will be registered for the race. Presentation on site on 12th /and 13th August, 2005 only on condition of increased registration fee.
REFRESHMENT:
once on the Route No.1 – (59 km)
on the Route No.2 – twice (59, 108 km)
on the Route No.3 – four-times (59, 108, 162, 198 km)
finish: choice from two meals
PRIZES:
for the first three in each category – financial
for the first three teams on the Route No.2 and No. 3 – material prize
winners on the Routes No 2/and No. 3 will become holders of the challenge cups of the town of Ždírec nad Doubravou, other material prizes will be drawn.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Rigid crash helmet for cycling is obligatory!
A competitor, who will be caught without wearing the safety helmet, will not be registered in the final standing report! The race will be performed in full road traffic conditions at onecs own risk! All race competitors are obliged to observe the Highway Code, No.361/2000 Coll., with an increased care. The organizers to be present along the race route will not have any competence to control the road traffic; they will provide only orientation services. We recommend you to pass a medical examination and close individual insurance. Organizers will not cover any health and property injury incurred by the competitors in relation to the race.
Time limits are specified for all routes based on the average velocity of 20 km/h. If you do not follow such a limit you will not be classified in the standing list as well as if you have yourself overtaken by “collecting” vehicle standing for the end of race running for such a specified average time.
Only for the Route No.1 the participants over 15 years will be registered, as for the other Routes they will be over 18 years. For participants below 18 years we require a written approval of legal guardian, which shall be submitted in registration proceedings.
ACCOMMODATION:
Not provided by the Organizer. We may offer a limited capacity in the gymnasium within the race place.
